Participant profile
We look for young maintenance professionals with at least an academic Bachelor’s degree in any technical subject, who have recently started their maintenance career and may have attended the WCM Summer School.
Each participant is invited to bring in their own innovation project within their own maintenance organization. To get the most out of the program, the participants must be open to coaching – both from the providing and receiving end – and be willing to share experiences and knowledge. Of course, the organizers of the program can teach you a thing or two, but we’re sure you’ll be able to learn as least as much from each other.
Prior participation in the WCM Summer School is not needed but recommended. During the WCM Summer School, the focus is on developing domain knowledge and skills. In the Young WCM program, the focus is more on developing your maintenance innovation skills and professional network. So, they complement each other.

The deadline for application is the 15th of October, 2022 (deadline extended). If you want to participate, please fill in the Young WCM application form.
Program dates
The first (digital) intake interviews with the participants will be scheduled after selection (information follows). The 3 master classes are scheduled at:
Tuesday and Wednesday 6-7 December 2022
Tuesday and Wednesday 20-21 December 2022
Tuesday and Wednesday 24-25 January 2023
Program fee
For WCM members: €2,430 (excl. VAT, excl. accommodation costs)*
For non-WCM members: €2,700 (excl. VAT, excl. accommodation costs)
* Members of World Class Maintenance and or earlier WCM Summer School participants receive a 10% discount on the application fee (incorporated in the prices above).
Since we’re staying overnight in a hotel in a central location in the Netherlands, accommodation costs involve dinner, breakfast, lunch, drinks, and overnight stay. The accommodation costs are dependent upon the location, but will be maximally €250 (excl. VAT) per participant per master class, so €750 (excl. VAT) in total.
Invoice
The fee for the Young WCM program will be charged to you by invoice. The invoice will be sent after the intake meeting and has to be paid before the start of the program.
NB:
1) It is only possible to apply for the whole program. If you are accepted, you will be informed by the Young WCM organization.
2) The organization has the right to cancel the Young WCM program if there are not enough applications. If the invoice is paid already, these costs will be reimbursed.
